Season opener of United States Touring Car Championship is held at Thunderhill Raceway. Weather for the weekend is sunny with temperature in the low 70s degree Fahrenheit range. We have the usual suspects along with a few new comer. We are expecting Andy Chittum with his BTM Motorwerks BMW 328 to be a strong contender this year. Pete Bovenberg has also done some major improvement on his MBO Honda Civic. Kurt Simmons, with his Turbo Neon SRT is also expected to be strong. (more…)

This year SuperLap Battle Prima Racing is working together with two companies. Continuing lat year effort with new and improved Speed Element’s 2006 Mitsubishi Evo9, and N1 Concept 2000 S2000. We have high hopes with both cars.

The EVO is a work in progress. Speed Element goal is to make a competitive Modified/Limited Time Attack car using all off-the-shelf parts. The goal is race on Sunday and sell on Monday. (more…)

Hartanto won a hard fought battle season finale. Hartanto was quick all weekend, but the man who top the time chart and captured pole position was AndyChittum. Started off pole, Hartanto was able to claim the lead on lap 3 and secured the win when the race was cut short due to incident with one of the Spoon car.

Team Prima Racing knew the season finale would be a hard battle. Notably Andy Chittum been getting stronger and almost capture the win at the last round. This season finale he stepped it up a notch. He was the fastest man all weekend capturing the provisional pole with a time of 1:51.246 with Hartanto only .062 second behind. (more…)
